Weekend Update

 

Who is excited for Monday?? Honestly, not this girl. I've been in a little bit of a funk ever since yesterday so I'm hoping it's just a side effect of this rainy stormy weather we are having and it will wash away by tomorrow. I had a pretty good weekend overall. I've been spending a lot of time with my girlfriends lately and that includes a lot of drinking and going out. Friday night we went to see Clay Walker at a local country bar. I got drunk completely hammered. I am not ashamed to admit it. In fact, I wish I had a video to show you because I'm sure it would be quite the form of entertainment. My friend had to take care of me, even had to take my cowboy boots off at the end of the night. God love my wild little heart! And I think I ate my weight in food this weekend. Hangovers make this girl HUNGRY! Yesterday I literally layed on the couch, watched movies and ate all.day.long. So tonight I will having a date with the gym and hopefully I can work out some of this funk.

Thursday Things to Love

I haven't done a Thursday Things To Love post in a long while so I thought I should get right on that! Here are some things that I am loving on this rainy Thursday.

 

Baby Powder - A dirty haired girl's dream! People ask me what my secret is with not washing my hair for days on end...and here you have it. The old baby powder trick. I just learned this trick this year, so don't feel bad if you are in the dark about it too. I have enough blonde in my hair to make it work and I take full advantage of it. I've used dry shampoo before too, but baby powder really works the best (on my  hair) and it's so cheap!

 

Pinterest - Let's face it, we all love Pinterest. I particularly love the Humor section. It never fails when I need a little giggle I can always count on Pinterest Humor to save the day.

 

iHeart Radio - I have converted from Pandora to iHeart Radio. Who's with me?? Pandora was killing me with alllllll the commercials. So far, I like it!

 

Alcohol - Yeah I said. I am loving some alcohol lately. Being a newly single girl, isn't always an easy transition. Enter my friend mr. alcohol. I'm going to have to reign this hobby in soon though before a) I become a full blown alcoholic or b) I get chubby from all the calories. For now, a glass of wine or a cold beer after a long day is just what I need.

 

You Make Me Wanna Roll My Windows Down

Do you ever get a song stuck in your head for DAYS at a time? Sometimes when this happens to me I can youtube the song to watch the video and it goes away. Not this time! I've had this Florida Georgia Line song stuck in my head for dayssssss. It will not go away. I've been youtubing it every.single.day. Then I found this funny little version of the video and I wanted to share it with you!

PS - I get to see these fellas in February because they are coming with Luke Bryan! (not these fellas in the video, but the Florida Georgia Line fellas) YES YOU HEARD ME RIGHT - YA GIRL IS GOING TO SEE LUKE BRYAN IN FEBRUARY!!! I am going to be the most obnoxious person for the next 80 days until the concert. Consider yourself warned.

Weekend Update

I can sum up my weekend for you in one word: glitter. And we all know that glitter = awesome. I had the girls over Friday night for glitter wine glass making via Pinterest. SUCCESS! They were so easy and fun to make. We will definitely be doing that again! Then we went out dancing while our wine glasses dried. Makes sense. Saturday I had a wine/painting class with the girls I work with. Yesterday was spent trying to recover from 2 nights in a row of being out until 4am drinking...needless to say it was a great weekend!

My purple princess glass! We used mod podge glue, then spinkled the glitter on, then used an acrylic spray to seal the glitter so hopefully they can be washed.
