I know I JUST did a post about dating, but a funny conversation happened at work today that led me to this post for you. No, I don't have a boyfriend... but I seriously still love this Bieber song. Haters gon' hate!
The real point of this post today is to tell you some fun facts about my dating life:
1. I've always wanted to date a guy named Nick. Nick & Nikki, come on! That's adorable. Let's make this happen.
2. My last name starts with a B. I'm very weary of marrying a guy that would move my last name to the back of the alphabet. I almost became an S last name by marrying Skye. Oh the anxiety that caused me!
3. I've turned into a lazy dater. I don't want to put up an effort if you don't live in the same town as me. I don't want to text you all the time or talk on the phone for hours. If you're younger than me, ain't happening! I'm not sexting you and definitely not sleeping with you. Dating just is not my focus right now and I'm clearly not going out of my way to make things happen.
4. I have become a social media stalker. It's true, judge me if you will. I am completely in "love at first sight" (one sidedly) with a guy I'm friends with on Facebook. I'm kiiiiiiind of holding out for him to fall in love with me too. I wish I was kidding with you right now. I want him.

#2 & #4 are totally me too! Especially #2, we had this conversation over the weekend. I don't want to go from F to the end. I kinda like being at the front. lol.
Marriage took me from an A to an S last name and I think I'll be bitter until I'm old and gray. All but one year in school I was the very first name on the attendance list and now my poor kiddos will be stuck in the kinda-sorta-middle-but-really-end and that's not as special! (No-shame side note: once I suggested Glenn and I scrap his last name and make up a whole new one for us. It didn't end well..)

My BIL is a Nik. He dated a Nikki for years. She LOVED that it was Nik & Nikki. She always had to say it with a smile. Yes she was in high school at the time hahah
I used to date guys with the letter 'J.' It was never on purpose. It just happened. It was so ridiculous. I mean, I dated other guys with different lettered names, but it was just uncanny about how many had names with that letter. Hahah...However, my husband's name starts with a D.
My last name was a C and now I'm a S. LOL

I've always said I will never marry a guy with a last name that starts with M. Because mine does, and my initials spell ARM. ugh! Thank god my Manchild's last name starts with an L!!! Hahaha!
i didn't even bother changing my last name when i got married...his last name is hard to spell/pronounce and i wanted to avoid the "what is it again? can you spell it?". laziness prevails!!

My name is kind of gender neutral, so I think it'd be funny to marry someone with an equally gender neutral name so we'll confuse people all the time.
Also, is it weird that I don't think I could date someone with the same first name as my dad or brother?

Yeah, I'm not interested. I dated a Chris once. Chris & Christina DID NOT WORK. It's not all that cool, ha. We are half the same person because 3 & 4 are so me. I live in Los Angeles so if you don't live within the same city limit as me. You can simply forget me leaving my house, because everything awesome is in walking distance. Also I cyber stalk the hell out of this guy who ask me to marry him while drunk at a bar.
Hahaha Nick. I dated two Nick's and although it's a cute combo, they both turned out to be giant d-bags. I hope you find a better Nick! than mine!
