Man, I love me some alliteration! It's been a rough week... I'm laying low and wallowing in self pity, I promise I'll be back and better next week. But for now, here's some Friday funnies.

 

FRIDAY!

Friends, it is FINALLY Friday! I am a happy girl today, for lots of reasons. My bestie best will be in from Arizona this afternoon. I haven't seen her since July and I CANNOT WAIT! Other reasons I'm happy probably include boys...several of them.

 

 

Oh yeah and LUKE BRYAN IS COMING TO KNOXVILLE! Jesus really does love me. Prepare yourselves for an overload of exclamation points in the coming months...

Oh You Fancy, Friday?

First & foremost on this lovely August 2nd, I would like to wish my favorite daddy (well my only daddy that I'm aware of) a Happy 50th Birthday! Pretty sure he doesn't even know what a blog is or read one so it's safe to put pictures of him in early 90's shorty shorts on here. I cannot wait to see the look on his face Saturday night at his surprise party! {Pretty sure I still make that face to this day when someone steals my ice cream cone!}

 

 

Friday, you are one good lookin' dude! Now if we are being honest, I'm not in the mood to work today. I've worked hard all week and I want to play today! I got my Happy Hour on last night, but didn't overdo it (per usual), Braves kicked some Rockies A$$, and we get to wear flip flops to work today. Does life get any better?

 

 

It's going to be a gorgeous day here, thankfully so I can rock the hell outta my new sunnies. Do you ever get new things and instantly as soon as you put them on it turns you into a smiling goofy idiot? That's me with my Ray Bans! I love them! I'm keeping it low key tonight so I will have no excuses for missing bootcamp tomorrow morning at 8am.

 

And in Back That Azz Up news... I used to love TSwift when she first came out. Then she got on my nerves and her songs sounded childish - but still catchy as hell. So I hated on her like any normal American would do. Now she's getting back in my good graces, music wise. I could not give a rip about who she is dating, whether it's a werewolf or a Kennedy. I'm loving this song lately though!

The Better to Hear You With My Dear

I know you have seen the winter trendy hats with the ears on them. I've seen them in animal prints and then some that look like actual animal heads. What do you think about them? I can't decide. I found one at Target that was just precious, but I didn't buy it. There were lots of reasons I didn't buy it. One, Skye was laughing hysterically at me. Two, I think it's cute but maybe just not cute for me. I seem to be latching onto all of these "tween" trends - the hair feathers, the hats with ears and I feel like I'm too old for this crap. I see lots of middle school aged girls in these poplar looks, and apparently I like to embrace my inner 12 year old girl. Would I look like a complete asshole in one of these? Keep in mind, I live in Tennessee - it's about 60 degrees here today so no real need for a furry hat. It would purely have to be in the name of fashion.

Tilly's Christmas PJs

Check this cute girl out! She cuddled with her mama last night in her cute little Christmas PJ onesie from Target. LOVE 'em! She's one of the loves of my life!

Skele-Tilly

This is my sweet girl, Tilly. We call her the million dollar dog because she has cost me quite the fortune and she isn't even a year old yet. (I will tell you her story later). Right now, she is called Skele-Tilly for obvious reasons :)
