7 Cardinal Rules in Life

We all have come to a crossroads in our lives before. You graduate college, get fired from your job, move away from home, break off an engagement, death of a loved one - all of these pivotal moments in our lives can cause us to doubt ourselves and question our paths. For the past 6 weeks I have been very much trying to shield myself from this ugly place of insecurity.
I found this little gem on Pinterest and even though it's simple, the words could not be more true. I printed this and put it up on my fridge at home. Sometimes we all need these reminders. If you're like me, then you need them daily. So for those of you us out there today who are going through any type of situation in our lives and need a little encouragement, here you are. I truly believe with all my heart that these are the keys to a happier life.

This is perfect my darling!!!!! I'm a firm believer in not comparing yourselves to others! Don't forget this quote either! "Don't compare your background scenes to someone's highlight reel" I find this quote to be useful in the days of Facebook, blogging, and all the other social media outlets! Love ya sweet girl!!!!

Amen, girlfrand! As cliche as it sounds, I think some good comes of everything. But - only if you look for it. I am so not trying to make this about me, but I had an ectopic pregnancy, which SUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKED. BUT - I cannot tell you how much closer it made me to my husband, and how it showed me a different {sweeter, more compassionate} side of people I see and talk to almost everyday. It's like I was only getting the surface of those people until I really needed them, and they came through. I hope that makes sense. And, I know I don't know you personally, but hang in there, girl! It will hurt for awhile, and there will always be a tiny spot in your heart that remembers him, and what it felt like to be with him, but you will heal from it. It won't be this yucky forever, it really won't.
Welp, now that I've just acted like your mama, I hope I didn't overstep my bounds, but I just wanted to say, You rock! and You will be the better woman for it, shug!
:)

I could definitely make room on my fridge for this one. And maybe my bathroom mirror.
But I do want to address #2 What I think of you is that you are amazing and beautiful and funny and a great person. Your strength at this point in your life is inspiring and I am so glad I get to have this little bit of you in my life. And I believe, that IS your business.
