5 on a Friday!

{ONE}
Well... it finally happened to me. One month after my 30th birthday, I found my first grey hair. You would think I was dying. I was literally in tears on my bathroom floor. Getting older is awful. I'm totally going to blame this on the darker hair that I'm rocking right now. I don't think I ever would have noticed if I was still rocking my blonde hair. Back to blonde I go the next time I get my hair done! Ignorance is bliss.

It's been an emotional week for me. (Thank you for all your amazing support yesterday, by the way!) Dealing with life, finding the grey hair, and then I watched the RHONJ finale. Talk about a tear jerker. Teresa has not always been my favorite NJ housewife. I've loved her and I've hated her at times. But I was genuinely tore up about her getting sentenced to 15 months in prison. What a sad reality for her family! OOOOOH also, did y'all hear that Bethenny is coming back to RHONY?? I can't wait for that! She is my sarcastic idol.

Remember the good old table flip days from Season 1?
I love it when my housewives show their crazy.

{THREE}
Whatever you do just serve God well. In overcoming this season of clutter and the feelings it stirs within me, I have to remind myself that I am blessed to be a passionate person. Even though sometimes my passions take over and I feel pulled in a million different directions. I thrive when I am serving others and feeling productive. I just have to pray that the choices I make, I will be obedient and serve God well every step of the way. Amen to that! So thankful for these reminders that others sometimes feel this way too.

Fall things are happening. I loooooooooove fall. Fall TV, football, weather, fall beer & iced PSLs, clothes, Hocus Pocus - I want it ALL. I'm a hot natured person so I love the crisp air in the mornings & evenings. I wish I could move somewhere that it's 70-50's year round. Perfection!

The bookcase in my office has a very Harry Potter-ish vibe right now with my witch hats, sorting hat style.
Target Dollar Bins FTW!

I did a craft class last week and we painted mason jars! So easy, fun and cute decorations! I'm Southern, we do everything with mason jars.
{FIVE}
Just a short week from tomorrow, I'll be heading to Florida for a week for a work conference. I can honestly say I'm so excited to get away from my real life. I cannot wait to unwind, disconnect and just have fun. OH, AND I'LL BE AT THE BEACH! There will be work happening, but I'll also have some free time. And when my life makes me feel like I want to run away from it, this timing could not be more perfect.

So much fun stuff, lady! I love your bookcase, looks fabulous!

Have so much fun at the beach, hooray sun and the sand!

I too, am sad about Teresa. Just such a crazy story, and man 15 months is a long time!

I miss the silly drama of NJ, too!

Have a wonderful weekend.

Hope you have a great time at the beach! I wish I was going with you! I need time away from reality too!

Colossians 3:23 has definitely become a reoccurring verse for me lately. I guess it's something I nee do to pray on and work at as well!

Having dark hair definitely makes the greys more evident. If I could only pull off being blonde, I'd be blissfully unaware of the numbers on my own head.

Have a great weekend!

Girl I've had grey hairs for years already and I'm 27! I'd say you're the lucky one! Love the mason jars! :)

That would be the perfect weather 50-70's year round. Beach time sounds like it is much needed. Hope you get plenty of time to sneak away at the conference.

Oh honey I so have to agree -- ignorance is definitely bliss when it comes to grey hairs. I am with you there and yes! blonde hair definitely covers them more than dark. Because the grey and dark contrast so much you can easily see them and drive yourself nuts. I love your fall decor and the mason jars are adorable! Can you believe I have never seen Hocus Pocus? I hope you have fun on your trip! Go there let loose and totally forget grey hairs and lifes problems, haha!

Love all those pretty colors you picked for the mason jars. Where in FL are you headed?? The weather is so nice here...still warm. I live in Pensacola which is up in the panhandle close to Alabama! Have fun and enjoy the beach.

I found my first grey hair a few weeks ago and panicked. I cut it off. Because that was the right way to handle that situation. I've been pretty much in a constant state of tears the last few weeks so I'm with you on the emotional front. Let's just be emotional and drink wine together.

Be thankful that you didn't find your first grey hair until after you turned 30. I'm 24 and I've had some grey hairs for years already. My mom did too at my age but she would always blame it on having her first child (me). Now she can't because it would appear it's just in our genes lol.

Enjoy FL and the beach! Also...be thankful you made it to 30 w/no gray hairs!!! I found my first one at 21 and then didn't find any more until I was 27, I think. I went a really long time between highlights this last time since I delivered baby early, and boy could I see them. Ugh!

Jealous of your FL trip... it's been way too long since I've been anywhere near the ocean!

It's OK to have that season of clutter sometimes...just focus on working your way out, you will be fine ;)

AHHHHH I haven't seen the reunion yet but I'm so sad for Teresa too - geez, talk about real life. I'm SOOOO EXCITED about Bethany coming back! She is real and I love her!

JEALOUS of your beach time!! Have fun and take tons of pics! Bring me back a smart, God-loving, tall lifeguard that also is a doctor on the side, ok? ;)
