30 Miles in 30 Days Challenge - May Week 1

I'm just going to start May by admitting that I am a total and complete slacker with this challenge right now. BUT I have started Insanity too (today will be Day 3 of 60) so it's a little hard to balance them both. That's my excuse! I will be playing catch up this weekend with my miles. I promise y'all I finish with at least 30 for the month.

Don't forget to show some love to the sweet Ms. Sarah who created this super cute button for the link up!

So button up and let's keep each other motivated!
The Pink Growl Link Up

If you want to stay connected with me during the week, I am posting some updates via Twitter & Instagram {nikkib918} too. #30milesin30days Kelly & Lins are also promoting this link up along with their own - Fitness Fridays! Check it out and link up your 30 Miles story for more people to get inspired by. AND Kristine has a great link up All the Way Strong that can help motivate us all! I'm so glad to have all these ladies, plus the rest of you linking up on board!! THANK YOU!

Updates on This Week's Progress:
  • I started Insanity on 5/7/13 - so far it's kicking my ass, but in a great way! I hear that Month 2 is killer!
  • I'm back on track AGAIN with eating healthy and tracking my calories, and I can tell I've lost a couple lbs.
  • My Fitness Pal & My Polar FT4 HRM are GREAT motivational tools for me! If you want to friend me on MFP my username is {nikkibradley918}.
My total miles for Week 1:
Monday 5/6
~2 miles jogging treadmill 4.8 mph avg pace
 = 2 miles total (pathetic, I know!)

TOTAL MILES FOR WEEK 1:  2 miles!
Total Miles for Challenge: 2 miles!
Only 28 more to go in 22 days!

What were your challenges this week?

I'm joining the 30 miles in 30 days this month!! Although I did worse then you. I thought about not even blogging about it today. IT's so bad!!!

Oh well we have the rest of the month to catch up.

What's this 'insanity' you talk about?!

I am back on the wagon! Insanity is hard core. YOU ARE AWESOME.

Insanity is NO joke. That left me in so much pain even after only one day! 2 is better than 1! You have plenty of time and you know you can knock some of them out with a few "bike rides." You got this!

What a great linkup! I run about 3-4 miles 5 or 6 days a week so I hit my 30 miles this morning! And 2 miles? That's AWESOME.... not pathetic. Half of America can't even WALK a half mile without needing a breather so don't even think for one second that 2 miles isn't totally awesome. :)
