30 is NOT the new 20

Everybody and their mama knows I'm on this quest to better myself after going through a rough patch this year. Saw this video yesterday on Facebook, watched it and loved it. Saw it again yesterday pop up on Twitter, watched it again, RTed it. Watched it for the third time last night at home and really let all this information sink in with me. I'm a couple years away from 30 and that is scary as hell. I know it's a 14 minute video, but watch it. It's worth your time!

What did you think?? And more importantly, who's ready to move away with me??

Well. I may or may not have shed a few tears with that (hello hormones, nice to see you again!) I am 28...29 in a few short months. I have been worried for a while now that I am wasting what is left of my 20s on pointless worry and unhappiness.

My plan to move to Nashville is as much part of the decision to live my life...I hope that it is the change that I need to jumpstart my life.

Either way, thanks for posting this...it is completely relative to me as I nearly enter my last year of my 20s.

Also-I might need a roommate in Nashville! I'll move with you haha.

Goodness, it is alarming how so many things are so true in this video. Thanks for sharing girl. Now I'll spend the rest of the day thinking about this and maybe eventually something will click to jumpstart things. At least there are a lot of us in this together!

The time is NOW! I think that you can't put off life, I'm guilty of that. I always say things like, "I'll start exercising seriously when I'm 30", "I'll really quit smoking when I'm 30". When the truth is I'll be paying for this shit when I'm 30!

I can't watch right now (at work...oops!), but definitely plan on watching tonight. I'm only a few short months away from 30- and already having a minor freakout! I'm also going through a rough patch right now, so hopefully this will resonate with me too!

What a great video! I turn 30 in less than 2 months, and I've been freaking out about it. This video made me realize that I am in a good place and shouldn't be worried about the number. Thank you for sharing.

Wow, what a great video! I joked that 30 is the new 20 when I turned 30 two years ago. This is definitely a wake up call and I wish I could have seen it years ago. Thanks for posting!

My favorite, "New things come from weak times". So true. I've been going through some changes with friends, but I am happy it's happening because it forcing me to expand and grow as an individual!

I am 31, but my 20's where a difficult time for me, and I am so lucky I have God to guide me! That makes ALL the difference!

Thanks for posting,

Brooke =)
